Kaili has been sick for the past three days so we’ve been cooped up inside the house…
During this time, I’ve been purging, organizing, donating loved but no longer used items. As I was going through her shoes, I smiled remembering how each pair played such an important role in her life… and how raising a girl has brought out the girly in me.
All the babies I met last year are quickly growing, walking, and talking! Remember this little guy from this session? He just turned ONE and look at those beautiful blue eyes… and those two front teeth… so stinkin’ cute

We originally started our shoot at the Wedding Bowl in La Jolla but were soon invaded by squirrals. Very friendly (?) squirrals…. so it didn’t take long to move our session to a nearby path. The path proved a perfect spot for our mini session! So we hung out and had a little bit of fun!

We met at the San Diego Botanical Gardens for her High School Senior session. It was my first time there so I arrived early and was I glad I did – the place is just beautiful! I found my way to the waterfall and it reminded me so much of home. The tropical trees, the sound of the waterfall, the peacefulness of it all.
Katie will be graduating this year and planning to attend culinary school with a specialty in pastry. My eyes lit up and I asked all kinds of questions because honestly I am no baker and I am in awe of those who can. Katie, I am so excited to see where your culinary path leads you! Hopefully, a cupcake war contestant

I moved to North County about 8 years ago and rarely venture into downtown San Diego. So when we scheduled our session at the Pedestrian bridge located near Petco Park, I was super excited! SOOOO stoked for the new location. But if anyone knows me… even with the GPS fired up…. I STILL managed to get lost! Eventually the bridge and I came face to face and all was forgiven.
We met up for our mother/daughter/sister session with a cameo from Grandpa and had such a good time. Ladies you are gorgeous! and Grandpa… that twinkle in your eye tells me you are one proud man.
